According to the published results of Effie Efficiency Index, McCann Zagreb and UM Zagreb, part of the I&F McCann Grupa, collectively represent the most effective group of agencies in Croatia, which has contributed to the fact that McCann WG Europe was declared the most effective agency network in Europe. This is yet another confirmation of the success of McCann Zagreb which at this year’s Days of Communication, the most important national advertising festival in Croatia, took the most prestigious award – the X Award for the Agency of the Year.
Commenting on this great recognition for McCann Zagreb, agency’s Managing Director Tomislav Presečki said: “Creativity gives campaigns a place in the minds of the public, while the efficiency of campaigns ensures business results for the client. One without the other is not enough, so we are proud that with our partners, suppliers and clients we create high-quality and fresh ideas, without losing sight of their primary purpose – to send the desired message to its audience in the most efficient manner. It is this philosophy that has brought us to the title of the best agency in the Croatian market, which we are really proud of, and now, together with colleagues from UM, our sister agency for media planning and buying, we can say that we are the most effective group in market communications in Croatia.”

For seven years now Effie Index recognizes companies that create the most effective marketing ideas in the world and ranks them according to cumulative success on more than 40 national, regional and global Effie competitions. Global Effie performance index for 2017 ranked a total of 3,601 finalists and awarded participants from the competitions which were held during 2016.
McCann agency network in Europe won a total of 348 points in 14 markets (Israel, Greece, Czech Republic, Romania, Ukraine, Poland, Croatia, Turkey, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Hungary, Austria and Russia). Pablo Walker, president of the agency network McCann Worldgroup Europe, said: “I’m proud of our region, which again this year returned to the leadership position. To be recognized for great ideas that bring results for clients is the essence of everything we do.
